ABOUT ME
MY BACKGROUND
I graduated as a Person-Centred Therapist in 1999 at Edinburgh University and am a member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).
I have over 35 years of in-depth experience of supporting, enabling and empowering young people, adults and organisations through challenging periods and processes, enabling a positive process of self-discovery, increased self-awareness, confidence, agency and personal growth.
I have designed & facilitated personal development programmes for people from all ages and backgrounds from across the UK, and beyond into developing countries. I have designed, taken part in, and led expeditions in Australia, New Zealand, Siberia, Alaska, Greenland, Scotland, Europe, Africa, and the Himalayas.

My Approach
Through my unique background of working with people through times of difficulties and personal challenge, combined with my deeply rich expedition and wild journey background, I am able to take you to places that might seem a little off the map both physically, emotionally and organisationally.
I’m deeply passionate and committed to all aspects of personal development while finding meaning and purpose through life, work and adventure.
Supporting and guiding people through challenge or personal crisis, my approach is guided by my deep-rooted passion for personal development and my extensive experience and intuition as much as by my training as a Person-Centred Therapist. Greg has run expeditions in the Himalayas for over 30 years, sea kayaked 300 miles along the west coast
External executive coaching
As an experienced and passionate Chief Executive with outstanding leadership skills, extensive people management experience and an exceptional record of financial management as well as commercial acumen, I am able to deliver high levels of performance, which is reflected in the successes of the organisations I have run and/or established. I have a deep understanding of governance, of working effectively with boards of directors and am a strong and extremely successful contract negotiator, having raised or negotiated over £45,000,000 in my career.
Having lived and worked in an international context, I understand the challenges facing those with the most complex backgrounds, at deep level. Through my communication and ambassadorial skills on all levels - from working with families in slums, to executives in business, partner NGO’s, trusts and foundations, lords and baronesses, as well as senior politicians and governments, I am able to create new opportunities and partnerships which open doors, attract support and funding, and raise an organisations profile and reach.
Driven by my passion for making a difference to people in difficult circumstances I constantly look for and create entrepreneurial and innovative programme’s and solutions to improve their life choices. As a natural leader I thrive on inspiring and motivating the people I work with and thus create extremely positive work environments in which all team members feel valued and highly motivated, and thus strive to work to the highest of standards.
